I have been complaining every day this month, that so-and-so is on vacation, and Bill is out of the office and Janet hasn’t answered my email or returned my call. This is the reality of the holiday season, and everyone fortunate enough to have saved some PTO is busy using it up before the New Year. However, a lot of opportunities can still be found during this time of year and I want to point out just a few things you can do to continue your job search.
The Holiday Season is here once more and the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas are filled with so much activity. From get-togethers with family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, to all of their family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances; this is the perfect time to utilize all of these opportunities to professionally network and market yourself informally.
Cloud adoption is accelerating at a breakneck pace, and the lines between private, public and hybrid cloud are blurring. More than 80 percent of companies today use a multi-cloud strategy and have an average of 4.8 private and public clouds.

There’s a sizable minority (42%) of organizations involving security teams early on in IoT projects, but conversely the largest number globally (72%) who claim they always define their security needs during projects. However, just 34% said the CISO is ultimately responsible for IoT security, among the lowest worldwide. The company board may discuss the incident recovery plan but have little oversight of the way the company is securing IoT devices in the first place.
